About
Most people who go into healthcare never set out to run a business. They train to care for people — and they become very good at it. That was Seun path too.He began as a mental health recovery worker in 2012 and worked his way through almost every corner of frontline mental health care: acute admission wards, a psychiatric intensive care unit, forensic inpatient services, and community crisis teams — assessing people at their most vulnerable, coordinating care through A&E, and supporting their safe return home. He qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, earned a postgraduate diploma in Mental Health Nursing from the University of West London, and rose to a Band 7 Senior Nurse Practitioner role with Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Then, in 2020, he did the thing so many clinicians quietly think about but few attempt: he built something of his own. Sky99 Healthcare Services grew from an idea into a CQC-registered organisation delivering compassionate care, ,domiciliary care, private mental health support and healthcare staffing across the South East of England.Building it taught him the hard truth first-hand: delivering excellent care and running a compliant, commercially sound service are two completely different skills. He kept meeting clinicians who were outstanding at the first and overwhelmed by the second, stuck in CQC registration, buried under policies and evidence packs, unsure how to recruit and keep good staff, how to manage cashflow, or how to win the right contracts.Closing that gap is what Seun now does.He helps senior healthcare professionals, nurses, social workers, registered managers, clinicians and service leads to transition from employee to owner by launching and scaling CQC-compliant services, including domiciliary care, healthcare staffing and supported living. The goal is never just a compassionate service. It's one that is regulator-ready and commercially strong. What Seun helps you build
1. CQC-ready governance structure, the policies, procedures, audits, quality assurance and evidence packs that stand up to inspection.2. Operational delivery systems, recruitment, onboarding, rotas, capacity planning and the performance rhythms that keep quality consistent as you grow.3. A scalable model, repeatable processes that protect your margins and let the business grow without breaking.Seun brings a combination that's genuinely rare in this space: deep clinical authority — including specialist mental health, forensic and crisis experience alongside the lived reality of registering, staffing and running a regulated healthcare business. He has invested in the commercial side too, with executive education from Harvard Business School, Harvard Medical School and Imperial College London. He isn't a consultant who read about this in a textbook. He's a clinician who built it, registered it, and runs it and he'll show you how to do the same.
